YO! Sushi menu 2015

YO! Sushi

>Project Details

This is the latest incarnation of the YO!Sushi menu. Previous menus had been in the form of a small book and it was felt that the menu could be more immediate and intuitive. All content was questioned and paired back to the bare minimum and the call out ‘hot… or not’ employed to spell out the kitchen or belt message clearly and simply.

The design echoes the kinetic energy of the restaurant by featuring the food and cutlery in in free fall across the page. Food ingredients and drinks literally explode across the page, even the logo is seismic in its execution with its component letters in free fall.

The simple layout and lack of bulk have been both a hit operationally and financially.
