Having worked with pianist and musical maverick, Joanna MacGregor on other occasions over the years, we were really enthusiastic about designing a new identity for Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra, when Joanna took the reins as Artistic Director.

Joanna specifically wanted something more modern and visible around Brighton, as she seeks to win a wider, younger audience.

Intro created a bright, clean identity and then applied it to designs for the first season brochure and related publicity materials. Exploiting the pure geometry of the letterforms, the logo is a nod to musical notation, without being too obvious.
