Box to Box’s golf series ‘Full Swing’ launched in 2023, topping Netflix charts on the first week of release. Intro created titles and graphics for use throughout the series.

The title sequence is a fusion of stylish and relevant typography with an impactful and dynamic representation of the subject in a beautifully observed, immersive moment.

An extreme slow-motion close-up shot of a driver teeing off reveals all the unseen details of the impact of the club on the golf ball, all the distortions and disruptions of the strike – a powerful metaphor for the show’s behind-the-scenes look at the players and tournaments of the PGA Tour.

It is a single close up, literally one full swing in a single shot, the hardest shot a golfer hits in terms of physical power, the fullest of swings, an exact visual definition of the title.

The typographic print on the surface of the ball is how the show’s title is seen, using a type style inspired by the more leftfield golf ball manufacturers marks, a more irreverent flavour again adding another angle to the tone of voice of the narrative.
