Title credits for Ben Wheatley’s Hollywood blockbuster MEG2 with Jason Statham.

The sequence was inspired by 3D Viewmaster and old stereoscopic photos, with the feel of underwater model scenes. The individual cards also have the feel of fantasy art movie posters, boys own adventure and 70s monster movies like warlords of
Atlantis.

It was animated by Julian and team using a mix of 3D modelling and AE 2.5D. We had access to some models from the film, which were fun to wrangle.

Mastering was in English and Chinese. We also created the layered files needed for the 3D IMAX master.
