‘The Shock of the Lightning’ Video

Julian House co-directed the video for the first single from ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ with Julian Gibbs. It sees the band play in a Terry Gilliam-esque world of animated collage.

We rotoscoped archive footage and found an effective way of getting a solarised look that worked well for the band footage. Our challenge was to find new ways of using the collage technique.
