William S Burroughs

Penguin

>Project Details

The Cut-up Trilogy is a series of three experimental novels by William S. Burroughs – The Soft Machine, The Ticket That Exploded and Nova Express.

Penguin Modern Classics have just reissued these with menacingly dark collage cover art by Julian House.

The cover illustrations are inspired by Burroughs’s own collages and evoke the books’ fusion of pulp sci-fi/horror, mind control, sex and hallucination.

Art Director: Julian House
